I’m not gonna lie, before I typed the title for this post I did have to check that it was definitely midweek, and despite it feeling like it’s been 4 days of Sundays since Christmas it is actually a Tuesday and leaves us with 2 days left of 2015 shocker. So I thought I’d ditch my festive nails for something a little more ready for the count down to 2016. After being brave enough to step away from my normal pink talons for Christmas I raided my nail varnish stash and found this one from Nails Inc that came in a GlossyBox earlier this year. I’ve always found Nails Inc polishes to be great quality and I love the London themed names but I can never really justify the £15ish price tag when I can pick them up for half that in TKMaxx or find the odd one as a treat in a beauty box.
London Lane is a bold, glittery top coat with hints of black, blue and violet. It would work over a whole host of base colours including black, grey and blue and I look forward to trying these out but while browsing the selection at the salon I chose Give Me Space, a shimmering royal blue by OPI. For many people this might be glitter overload but my logic was, it’s New Years Eve – one of the biggest parties of the year, you can’t have too much glitter right?!
My bottle of London Lane is in the old style bottle so can be found a little cheaper than the normal RRP, I’ve spotted it on eBay for around the £6 mark at which I’d definitely recommend adding it to your collection, if nothing else than to team with a little black dress in Christmas party season.
What are you doing with your nails for New Years Eve?
