As you may have seen on my Instagram stories (I love them and I’m trying to get in the habit of using them more….) the other week I spent the evening at Sure’s pop up boutique in Soho. Just in time for London Fashion Week, Sure had created an evening of fashionable fun, cocktails and canapes. Designed to celebrate one of the seasons hottest trends, monochrome. (and to showcase Sure Invisible Black + White of course!). I got a little snap happy, so I thought I’d share what I got up to;
The #SureStyle Black & White Edit Pop-Up Shop
The team at Sure had split the shop into three sections, as you came through the door you are greeted by a curated selection of monochrome pieces from some well known high street fashion brands including Zara and H&M. Behind this, they had a photo wall (which I saw a few members of Made In Chelsea making use off) and a “flatlay station” with flatlay queen Ashanti from AdornGirl. I had way too much fun playing with the props at station and gave me some great inspiration for my blog photos, result. To the back, there was a manicure station. I’d just had my nails done the previous day, so I didn’t take them up on the offer. However, everyone I saw with there’s done looked great!
With a espresso martini in hand, I took a little time out to admire the monochrome collection that Sure had curated. As most of my wardrobe seems to black and white, I really enjoyed looking at their picks. Best of all, instead of sending us away with a goodie-bag. They let us pick a piece from the collection to take home. I got a beautiful, classic black dress from Zara that I’m sure will become a staple in my wardrobe before long. I thought it was such a lovely touch to get to pick a something you’d want to wear, and gave me the perfect outfit for when I head to London Fashion Week after work…
Thanks again to the team at Sure for inviting me, I had a fabulous evening!
