Two weeks ago I was lucky enough to spend the evening at Lights Of SoHo meeting the team at EE and learning a bit more about their current projects and campaigns. Let me start off by saying, the couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Lights Of SoHo a social enterprise, members club and gallery located on Brewer Street in the heart of (you guessed it) SoHo.
I make no secret out of the fact I love cake. I mean, in my mind you can’t beat a cute cupcake or a slice of cake filled with fresh cream and fruit. So, when my office moved to Victoria and I found myself working only a few metres from the Peggy Porschen Parlour, I knew I’d end up treating myself to cake on more than a few occasions. Even if you’ve not heard of Peggy Porschen before, you will more than likely have spotted it on your Instagram feed. With it’s pastel pink exterior and marble tables, it’s like a bloggers dream come true.

After really enjoying writing a “It’s The Little Things In Life” post last month, I thought I’d make it a semi regular thing. With so much drama going on in the blogosphere and constantly seeing awful things on the news, it’s sometimes good to sit down and look at the little things that make you happy. So, on that note, here’s a few little things that have put a smile on my face this month;
If there’s one thing I probably spend too much money on it’s going out to eat. What can I say? I just love food. On which note, a few weeks back one of my favourite blogging buddies Sophie and I headed over to the recently refurbished branch of Giraffe World Kitchen in Victoria. With a range of different dishes from around the world, I’ve always found Giraffe a great choice even with my fussiest of friends and family. With everything from tapas to burgers, there really is something for everyone. Having just moved office to Victoria and being in need of a catch up, it seemed the ideal time to pay a visit to the local Giraffe World Kitchen…
So this payday, I was super naughty. I knew I was going to want to buy the new Jeffree Star collab with Manny MUA when it launched but I still found myself browsing on Beauty Bay. Under the guise of “my setting spray is running out, I should really buy a new one…” I thought I could get away with only purchasing that one thing. (Even though third of a bottle left isn’t really almost done. I knew I was only making excuses to myself.) Long story short, the next day a box filled with goodies from Jeffree Star and Gerard cosmetics landed on my doorstep. So, I feel I ought to at least try and justify my haul by sharing it with you lovely lot; View Post
Another busy week calls for writing another week in lipsticks, or something like that! As the last full working week before having a set of two short weeks for Easter, they ended up even more jam packed than expected. With concerts, sunshine and winning tickets to the UK Blog Awards. Well, I may have been keeping busy. But it was certainly worth it..
